A look at the day!
January 23, 2010
My day simplistically put.
Today, In a Nutshell.
Today, I headed out with a pocket full of things to do; little did I know what the day really held in store for me! First things first is what they say, so I set out to the Beacon for some coffee, lunch, and comradely with my friends and acquaintances alike. As it is Saturday, and I like to see how everyone that I know is doing. Right after I got through eating, I had stepped out for a smoke and some tunes via Randal (Guitar Man); that’s when I got the phone call. I had been eager to be able to hang out with Sean; hay, I would like to get to know him better. He kind of comes across to me as the “last boy scout”, and the chances of meeting someone of his caliber, unfortunately to me, seams to diminish more and more as the year’s progress. Good news, were going to rondavue in 45 minutes! After briefing Randall about the PTB group, concerning the mission of awareness, understanding, care, and motives; he sounded very proactive, and motivated to share his story. After saying my goodbyes, I jetted off to meet up with my good buddy. We did indeed have a great day so I feel, complete with an on-line stream with a lot of my dear, new found friends at PTB; as well as a personal interview of my long time friend conducted mainly in part by Sean. It is true, Randall was totally himself; his impression of PTB, I would like to reassure you, was very conducive to offering him reassurance that not all is lost; that there are people out there that are very interested in making a change for the better concerning the homeless masses. Latter on I went grocery shopping, and talked with my buddy Mike, we shared a few laughs as he accompanied me to the store; otherwise I just took it easy the rest of the night as I prepare to take on looking for full-time employment full-time this coming week.
