Tim had a great day at work, very enjoyable and productive.  He stated that he actually felt part of the team and his boss was very happy with the output and completetion of tasks by both Tim and his coworker.

The weather was discussed in the chat room and Tim commented that yes indeed the cool climate was chili weather but also stated that any weather conditions was chili weather.  Some fun facts about chili from the world wide internet include the following:  Chili Con Carne is the offical dish of the state of Texas, Willie Gebhardt, a resident of Texas, produced the first canned chili in 1908, and there is a great website that contains recipes and information all about chili that I will add in the comments after the blog is posted.  Just thought I would add some interesting tidbits to a subject that Tim enjoys.

Tim also went to a meeting after work tonight.  He discussed how at times the meetings fill a void and in a way feels refreshing.  The chat room discussed his schedule of meetings and Tim tries to always make meetings on Thursday and catches as many as he can on the other days of the week.  This is a very important tool in his recovery along with various reading materials and he understands how they all play an integral part of the bigger picture.  That is something that we can encourage Tim to continue utilizing with his recovery and day to day enviroment.

Again Tim discussed his plans to go on a field trip to pass out survival items to anyone that he can find on the street that are in need.  MommaD ( Mrs. Dolan) had expressed alot of interest to go with him so they were looking into maybe going late Friday and or Saturday to do so.  The chat room discussed the various items that would help those living on the street and surviving the winter weather and they included socks, gloves, hoodies, jackets, blankets, backpacks, sleeping bags, sweatshirts, rain jackets or poncho, large trash bags, canvas bags, caps, can openers and canned food with pop/pull tops with plastic spoons taped onto them.  On a side note, these items and more can be donated to PTB as several people have already expressed interest into by mailing them to PTB headquarters.  These items can be distributed when Sean and Tim go out and try to find anyone who is in need of such items.  Also Tim suggested that everyone also look into any homeless shelters or programs in our areas and donate to them as well.  Some areas are underfunded and can use any and all donated items as well to help those in everyone's area.

The discussion then led to plans for the weekend and Tim was looking forward to catching up on some sleep that he didn't get during the week.  Saturdays for most are always great for sleeping in and rejuvinating everyone.  Tim discussed his plans to go to the Dolans for family game night and was excited to be able to interact with everyone.  It appears that MommaD had been trying to get him over for quite some time, so Tim was taking her up on the invite and I am sure they all will have a great time.

The show closed with some yawns and some laughter and as always everyone was looking forward to Friday and the next Tim Edwards show.  Just wanted to add that I appreciate the comments left on the previous blogs and I wanted to thank Sean Dolan for letting me give back to PTB and helping in any way I can.
