Looking back I have had the opportunity to reflect on some things and there is something that has constantly popped into my head.  How many are familar with these words from Robert Frost:  " Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-  I took the 'one less traveled by -   And that has made all the difference."   Can everyone imagine how things might have turned out if Tim Edwards had taken the other path, the one most traveled, the easier one to follow, the road that many have walked for years now.

But instead, Mr. Edwards took the one less traveled, the path that would require more work, more of his personal time and that would show the world his true character and determination.  The path chosen consisted of detox, rehab, reconnecting with family, meeting new friends and challenges and then finding a job to support himself.  Mr. Edwards chose not to sit by and allow others to provide for him or enable him to continue resorting to utilize the survival skills learned on the streets (working people).  No in fact, Mr. Edwards found a way to support himself and become a productive member of society.

That in itself is the hard way, the road less traveled but also the road that is most rewarding.  He has proven that he can do anything he puts his mind to.  He has shown his ability to support himself and learn new job skills.  Mr. Edwards has proven just how successful PTB can and will be.  The structured system that is in place to help those who are willing to help themselves.

As this year is coming close to an end, I like others can't wait for the next PTB participant.  We know there will never be another "Tim" but I believe there are others out there who are willing to do what is necessary of them to succeed.  Those individuals out there who want to commit themselves to get back on their feet and become productive again.

Tim Edwards has shown that it can be done and that the PTB way is a proper way of helping those in need.  PTB is not just some gimmick, it is a caring organization created by people who have donated their time, effort, monies and their compassion.  I want to thank Mr. Edwards for all the work he has put into for himself and the work he has contributed towards building a bigger and better PTB.

So sometimes when we are looking at which way to go in life, let us remember that road less traveled.  Let us remember how one person made the decision to take it and how grateful we all are to know him.

Tim, thanks again for all you have done and continue to do.
